"D'Oh!" "A Deer!" "A Female Deer."

Not to smash your idealism yet again ... It appears that Fox ripped off The Simpsons from a lesser known Tezuka Productions' Mr. Sparkle Big Bad Donkey Wrestler. Apparently the main character in the Tezuka production from the 1950s-60s was named Gomer Sparkle. I mean, just look at that pic!

But seriously, I thought I would get on Garet's good side and post my top twenty favorite Simpsons episodes. He is the biggest Simpsons fan that I currently know.

I have posted my ranking, the episode number, the title and the date it aired. If you want to know what episode I am referring to then I suggest a visit to The Simpsons TV Tome page.

You'll notice that the episodes come exclusively from the first nine seasons and predominately from season five. I really think the show went down hill in terms of its writing after season nine. Oh, well.
