"Thinking Eternally, Acting Locally." - Neal August
What follows is a research paper I submitted to Dr. Karen Bullock for History of Christianity II. In this work I compare the two religions, focusing on the significant difference in world view. While many uninformed people state that Buddhism and Christianity are very similar, in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. While writing this paper, I began to grow in my dislike in Buddhism. Though I do have a mini-Buddha statue for "Good Luck" (that is the name of the statue. I shop frequently at Earthbound) on my desk, I find the core beliefs of the philosophy to be antithetical to all that I love about Christianity. I think my work reflects this anthithesis.
